“Yoga and Relaxation with Tibetan Bowls” is a practice that combines the healing power of sound with traditional yoga techniques for total body and mind restoration. During the class, we combine soft, mindful movements with meditative sounds from Tibetan bowls that directly affect the energy centers (chakras) and nervous system.
Tibetan bowls are known for their deep, harmonious sound that penetrates the cells of the body and creates a sense of inner peace. They promote physical and emotional calm by stimulating energy flow and releasing stress and tension.
How does the practice work?
- Introduction - The practice begins with a short meditation to calm the mind and bring attention to the present moment. At this stage Tibetan bowls are used to tune the energy field.
- Yoga asanas and breathing techniques - The following is a carefully selected sequence of gentle yoga poses (asanas) that are suitable for all levels. The focus is on fluid movement, breathing and awareness. Asanas for stretching, opening the chest and relaxing the spine are the focus of this part of the practice.
- Relaxation with Tibetan bowls - The culmination of the hour is deep relaxation (Shavasana) accompanied by the sound therapy of Tibetan bowls. The sound vibrations penetrate deep into the body creating a feeling of ease, harmony and complete relaxation.
