Thank you! I begin with this beautiful, full of charge word to first express my gratitude to life in its full yet simple form.
Thank you for reading my brief summary at this very moment.
Here on this page I will tell in a few words my experience and encounter with yoga.
A gram of practice weighs more than tons of theory.
Шри Шивананда
My name is Petya Zhelyazkova and I live in a picturesque village near the capital. We have a small vegetable garden which we take care of with a lot of love and dedication. I believe that when a person puts his whole heart and soul into what he does, the fruit of his labour is rewarding.
So my encounter with yoga became the fruit of a lot of hard and dedicated work.
My favourite hobbies are cycling, walking in the woods and working in the garden.
The focus of my life up to a point was completely directed outward from me.
The care and attention extended far from my inner world. And so while seemingly leading a peaceful balanced life, something was eluding me and not giving me peace.
What was that?
I realized very quickly-I had lost touch with myself. This prompted me to look for a way to regain that ancestral birth-given connection.
And then I met a yogi.
My love for Kundalini Yoga was love at first sight. They say when you are ready for something big in your life, it happens. That’s exactly how Kundalini yoga happened to me. It just happened. I started taking Kundalini yoga classes. By attending a Kundalini seminar, I experienced something I had never experienced before, or at least had no memory of . During the seminar, at the time of the taught practice – powerful and intense asana sequences combined with breathing practices and sound vibrations that drifted through the room overwhelmed me. I had no explanation of exactly what was happening, but I knew it was confirmation that I was in the right place with the right people. . All that had happened to me during this several-day seminar gave a request for my regular personal practice (sadhana). So day after day, month after month, year after year of “sadhana” I knew that what was happening to me and the whole body/mind transformation could not possibly not be shared with those around me. And so
I made one of my most important and kindest decisions- to follow the path of kundalini yoga as a teacher dedicated entirely to this technology.
My main motive and the urge of my heart were synchronized in sharing the authenticity and purity of this technology. So for me, Kundalini yoga teaching became service. I have studied at Amrit Naam Sarovar – Kundalini Yoga School (France). Now I continue to study at Ecole du Tantra – FTKY(France). I believe that the earlier we start learning or reminding ourselves of the need to build a strong connection with our soul , the more joyful and harmonious lifestyle we will lead.
My interest in children’s yoga was sparked after I gave birth and had insight into the needs of a young child. I became a certified yoga teacher for children and adolescents.
I traveled to India ready to embark on a deeper study of Kundalini yoga. There I received many valuable lessons. And so to this day, I have not stopped with this journey inward to myself with the help of yoga.
What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness. It helps us to shed light on the limitations of our mind that we set ourselves, to overcome them and to learn to feel the world with the help of Intuition.
Kundalini yoga combines all types of yoga practices:
- breathing exercises
- mantras
- body lock
- mudra
- focusing the gaze
- asanas
Thanks to this, the energies of our body, mind and soul come into harmony, healing our physical and mental wounds.
As a practice Kundalini yoga includes all the different branches of yoga: Asana (traditional yoga postures), Meditation (Raja yoga). Pranayam (breathing exercises), Mantra (Surat Shabd Yoga – Use of sacred sound vibrations), Service (Bhakti Yoga) and Spiritual study (Jnana Yoga-The path of knowledge) and many more. It is referred to as technology as it supports and repairs all the major systems of the body/mind and is the science of “angles and triangles” (proper physical geometry) and the movement of prana, life energy.
I invite you to come and share this magical space together!
Thank you!
