“Yoga Mom and Baby” is a wonderful class dedicated to the bond between you and your baby.
It is an ideal opportunity to take some time for yourself—caring for your body through yoga while also enjoying quality time with your child through the gentle gymnastics and dance-based exercises we organize.
Who is yoga class suitable for and what should you bring?
“Yoga Mom and Baby” is for all mothers with babies between 3 months and 1 year old, as long as they do not have a medical recommendation against physical activity.
How to prepare for the class:
* Our studio provides yoga mats, but please bring an extra blanket, towel, or mat for your baby to lie on;
- You may use a baby sling or carrier, and your baby can stay in it while you perform some of the exercises;
- Dress comfortably—both yourself and your baby;
- Please do not bring toys into the yoga space;
- The baby should not have eaten in the 40 minutes prior to the start of the yoga practice.;
- Try not to arrive too early or too late—babies can get restless if they have nothing to keep them occupied while waiting for class to start;
- If your baby starts crying, feel free to step out of the room for a moment to soothe them. If they fall asleep, don't wake them—take the opportunity to focus fully on your own yoga practice.
